First Night Raleigh 2016
For years Artsplosure’s First Night Raleigh event has been helping our community celebrate our area while bringing in the New Year with entertainment and activities for the young and old. First Night Raleigh 2016‘s theme this year will be “Celebrating North Carolina Firsts”. Throughout the day & night activities will be highlighting North Carolina’s #1s. For example, did you know that North Carolina is the home of the first putt-putt course? An interactive exhibit called, Art Putt, has been designed by local artists to celebrate North Carolina. Art Putt is a 9-hole indoor miniature golf course where families can golf throughout the celebration taking in the specially designed course with salamanders, pirates and krispy kreme challenges. Art Putt will be held at Market Hall in City Market.
