The Cary Jaycees have sponsored the Christmas Parade in Downtown Cary for the past thirty-eight consecutive years. Enjoy this joyful celebration which includes bands, mascots, local businesses, community groups, and churches.

Enjoy Wake Forest’s annual Christmas Parade with over 100 colorful floats, entries from local businesses, churches, schools, marching bands, civic groups and more. Food Trucks will also be on site from 11:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m.
Take time to clear out cluttered shelves of books your kids have outgrown to give those books a second life with a child who needs them. Kindly donate NEW or Gently USED books to promote literacy in our local community. In the spirit of the Holiday Season, Dr. Gina Lee will give YOUR SCHOOL a $1 donation for each book that you donate during the whole month of December 2016.

Families with children 5-11 years old.Thick and thin, straight and wavy, short and long: explore lines and marks in art across the Museum. Then, create your own drawings inspired by what you see. This program includes a Gallery tour plus a studio workshop for families. Workshops sell out quickly get your tickets early. Cost: $5 for Members, $8 for Nonmembers.

Take a train ride through the North Pole through thousands of twinkling lights. At the end families can enjoy face painting, “Science of Santa”, “Skate in your Socks”, complimentary hot chocolate and more. This event sells out quickly so grab your tickets fast.

Bring On the Snow, by Andy Beck and Brian Fisher, is a hilarious variety show chock-full of one-liners, wintertime puns and catchy holiday tunes!
