FREE event. Put on your best jammies and spend an evening cozying up, drinking hot chocolate and listening to great bedtime stories from multiple award-winning Donna Washington.

“Food Truck Friday” is back again at the annual SAS Golf Championship. Entry to this event is FREE and open to the public. Come and enjoy some delicious eats from some of the area’s top food trucks: Cousin’s Main Lobster, Chirba Chirba Dumplings, American Meltdown, & Spanglish.

For all ages. Enjoy a day of bands, food and activities all to raise awareness and money for the Wake County Big Sweet project.
FREE event. The Family Fright (appropriate for families with younger children) will be from 5pm-6pm. Full Fright (scarier and for bigger kids) from 7pm-9pm. The Haunted Trail is free, but please note there will be scary stuff, so enter at your own risk! This is an outdoor activity with low lighting so remember to wear appropriate shoes, preferably tennis shoes, and dress for the weather.

FREE event. Brind your lawn chairs and blankets and spend a celebrating with cultural programs, exhibitions, visit the bazaar, live music and a fireworks display to close out the night.

Take a spooky ride on a real train. Ride on a steam engine that is transformed into a Ghost Train. The train ride will transport you through a pine forest where you’ll see flying witches, smoking cauldrons, a 13-foot tall grim reaper and other shenanigans along the route. Singing pumpkins, a new Count Cluckula kids’ game, a stand-along caboose with creepy artwork and so much more. Don’t forget to wear your costumes – parents included! For all ages. Come travel the world with music, dance, arts, food and more. Visit a varitey of booths to learn about different cultures and purchase souvenirs to take home. Don’t forget to check out the kids talent show on Sunday.
